Tony Plana

Tony Plana, born April 19, 1952, in Havana, Cuba, is a Cuban-American actor known for his work in film and television. He began his acting career in the late 1980s, making his feature film debut in the comedy "Disorderlies" as Miguel. Plana gained wider recognition in the 1990s with his role as Martinez in the legal thriller "Primal Fear". He continued to take on diverse roles, including his portrayal of Prosecutor Martinez in the television movie "Jodi Arias: Dirty Little Secret" in 2013. Plana is also recognized for his role as Ignacio Suarez, the father of the leading character in the television series "Ugly Betty".
