Warren Finnerty was born on April 9, 1925 in Brooklyn, New York. Known primarily for work in film, Finnerty appeared in three credited roles during the mid-to-late 1960s. In 1967, Finnerty portrayed Tattoo in Cool Hand Luke, a film set in a prison camp. The following year, Finnerty took the role of Rancher in Easy Rider, a counterculture road film released in 1969. Earlier, in 1964, Finnerty appeared as Lintz in The Brig, a drama based on a military prison play.
