Born on November 16, 1882 in Toledo, Ohio, Faylauer appeared in two credited roles, both as uncredited extras in major productions. In 1935, Faylauer appeared as a Party Guest in The Good Fairy, a comedy film directed by William Wyler. Nearly a quarter-century later, in 1959, Faylauer took on a small uncredited role as Bald Bidder in Alfred Hitchcock’s North by Northwest, a thriller starring Cary Grant and Eva Marie Saint.
