Elliot Ngok Wah was born on July 13, 1942 in Shanghai, China. Ngok Wah appeared in several films during the late 1960s and 1970s, establishing a presence in the industry through roles in action and historical dramas. In 1968, Ngok Wah played Liu Yu-Long in Killer Darts, a film that contributed to their recognition in martial arts and adventure narratives of the period. Three years later, Ngok Wah took on the character Qin Shang Yi in Lady of Steel, further expanding their range in genre films.
