Jean Droze was born on June 26, 1925 in Luçon, Vendée, France. Droze appeared in a small number of French films during the mid-1960s, taking on minor, often uncredited roles. In Let's Rob the Bank (1964), Droze played a Department Store Salesman, a brief part that contributed to the film’s comedic ensemble. The following year, Droze appeared in The Gendarme in New York (1965) as Un gendarme italien, a supporting role within the broader narrative of the series.
In 1967, Droze took a small part in The Exchange Student as Gardener of the “Boquet institution,” a role that fit the film’s lighthearted tone.
