Judith Malina was born on June 4, 1926 in Kiel, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. Malina appeared in three films during a career spanning multiple decades. In Dog Day Afternoon, released in 1975, Malina played the role of Mother. In Music from Another Room, from 1998, Malina portrayed Clara Klammer. Over/Under, released in 2013, featured Malina as Catherine.
Malina was also known for work outside film, including co-founding The Living Theatre with Julian Beck, a theater troupe recognized for its radical political approach.
