In 1968, Shek Tin appeared in Killer Darts, portraying two distinct characters: Tung Kung-Long and the Eerie Scholar. The film marked one of the early entries in a career that would span more than two decades.

By 1972, Shek Tin had a supporting part in The Human Goddess as Playboy #1. In 1977, the actor appeared in Broken Oath as a Brothel Manager, demonstrating versatility in character roles.
