Zamanskiy's earliest credited role was in the 1961 film 'The Steamroller and the Violin', where he portrayed Sergei. He also appeared in 'Allegro with Fire' (1979) as Иванков, военный инженер 2-го ранга, командир особой группы. In Andrei Tarkovsky's renowned 'Stalker' (1979), Zamanskiy provided the voice for the Professor's Telephone Interlocutor, though he was not credited for this role. His final film appearance was in '100 Days Before the Command' (1991), where he played The Unknown Man.
